Dr. Michael A. King
Dr. Michael A. King was born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. He attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. Dr. King completed his surgical and neurosurgical internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital, Nashville and his pediatric neurosurgical residency at University of California, San Francisco. Dr. King has been affiliated with Neurospinal Associates since 1990. Dr. King has served on the Neuroscience Committee and the Surgical Case & Special Procedure Review Committee at Blake Medical Center. He is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS).

Dr. Darlene A. Lobel
Darlene A. Lobel, MD was born in Miami, Florida. She attended college at Duke University and completed medical school and neurosurgical residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed clinical and research fellowships at UCLA, Emory University, Mayo Clinic, and the Atomic Energy Commission in Grenoble, France. Before joining NeuroSpinal Associates in June 2023, Dr. Lobel practiced Neurosurgery for over a Decade at multiple facilities including the Cleveland Clinic Center for Neurological Restoration, the Mayo Clinic Department of Neurologic Surgery and the University of Florida.

Dr. Michael S. Park
Dr. Michael S. Park was born in Brooklyn, NY. He attended college at the University of Pennsylvania and medical school in Syracuse, NY, at Upstate Medical University. He completed his surgery internship at NYU and his neurosurgical residency at USF in Tampa, in addition to a research fellowship at Northwestern University. He also completed part of his training at Saint Louis University. Prior to joining NeuroSpinal Associates in November of 2023, Dr. Park practiced neurosurgery on staff at Pinnacle Medical Group locally in Bradenton FL. He has over 17 years’ experience in Neurosurgery and is Board Certified and is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS).
Dr Park specializes in Brain, neck, and back disorders and performs the following surgeries including but not limited to:
Anterior cervical, ACDF, Cervical Disc Arthroplasty, Posterior Lumbar laminectomy, PLIF, XLIF, TLIF, posterior lumbar microdiscectomy, Cubital Tunnel and Femoral Cutaneous nerve release, carpal tunnel, Sural Nerve and temporal artery biopsies, minimally invasive cranial surgery, Vagal nerve stimulation for seizures and epilepsy, brain and spine tumors.

Dr. James A. Tiesi
Dr. James A. Tiesi was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois and completed his residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois, Michael Reese and Cook County Hospitals in Chicago. He has extensive training and experience in neurotrauma. Dr. Tiesi joined Neurospinal Associates in 1996. Dr. Tiesi’s interests include endurance sports and the study of eastern philosophies. He is the proud father of 2 accomplished sons, Christopher and Alexander. He is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS).
